About ABA Therapy: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a research-backed approach designed to enhance essential skills and improve the quality of life for individuals with autism and developmental disorders.
Your Role Includes:
- Delivering ABA interventions to clients in their homes.
- Collecting and analyzing data on client progress, and preparing reports under the guidance of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).
- Collaborating with program staff to ensure consistent and effective therapy.
- Providing updates to parents and guardians on daily activities and client progress.
- Implementing and adjusting individualized ABA therapy programs.
- Assisting in the creation of behavior intervention plans.
- Communicating clearly with clients, families, and team members.
- Being open to learning and receiving constructive feedback.
- Working well both independently and as part of a team.
- Having reliable transportation for client visits (we do not provide client transportation).
We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience with ABA therapy or special needs is a plus but not necessary.
- RBT certification is preferred, but if not certified, a commitment to obtain certification within 60 days is required. We offer a pay increase and reimbursement for certification costs upon completion.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet the physical demands of the role.
- Willingness to obtain In-Person First Aid/CPR certification.
- Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and current insurance are necessary.
Ideal Candidates Include: Those with experience as behavior technicians, paraprofessionals, child care providers, teachers, special needs professionals, or early childhood educators. We seek compassionate, patient, and dedicated individuals who are eager to make a difference.
