Job Title: Assistant Kitchen Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our team at Flix Brewhouse. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist the Kitchen Manager in maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and cost control.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and maintained.
  • Conduct regular line checks to ensure that all menu items are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.
  • Ensure that all kitchen staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a kitchen management role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Proven track record of maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
