Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to financial aid.
  • Develop and implement procedures for awarding and disbursing financial aid funds.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide excellent customer service to students and families.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes to federal and state regulations and implement necessary changes to procedures.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues on financial aid procedures and regulations.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent education in Business, Accounting, or other related area.
  • 1 year experience working in the Financial Aid environment.
  • Experience working with Federal Title IV regulations, policies, and procedures related to financial aid.
  • Ability to be detail-oriented with good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform responsibilities with initiative and minimal supervision.
  • Ability to interact effectively in a team-based environment, college service areas, and student populations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or other related area.
