Job Summary

The Education Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the academic success of our members. This position oversees the educational experience of club members, particularly during Power Hour, and works closely with teachers, parents, and schools to provide support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with schools and parents to ensure members receive necessary support and resources.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote academic achievement and homework completion.
  • Act as a liaison between teachers, parents, and the club to ensure a collaborative approach to education.
  • Ensure members actively participate in program activities and receive caring supervision and recognition.
  • Assist in organizing and implementing program services and activities that promote team-building and social skills.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups, including children, parents, and staff.
Nice to Have
  • Experience working with children and youth.
  • Basic technology skills, including Microsoft Office.
