We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex mechanical systems and interconnect solutions for various platforms, including above and below sea combatant platforms, mobile and stationary ground platforms, and missile systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and interconnect solutions using CREO and other CAD tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with electrical and software components.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the team's designs are innovative and effective.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development, with a focus on interconnect solutions.
  • Proficiency in CREO and other CAD tools, as well as Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
