We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Redwire Space. As a key member of our Optical, Electronic, and Mechanical Assembly department, you will play a critical role in developing processes that enable our future growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed Manufacturing Plans in TIP SFE
  • Support the transition of products from development to manufacturing
  • Define and support the development of manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with manufacturing stakeholders and Design Engineering to create, enhance, and revise documentation
  • Design and validate assembly tooling
  • Play an active role in the development of assembly staff and work with management to resolve skill gaps
  • Assist in coordinating assembly workflow and help ensure department goals are achieved
Requirements:
  • BS/MS Degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
  • 5+ years' relevant Manufacturing Engineering experience in an Aerospace, Avionics, or Military production environment
  • Strong ERP knowledge with a focus on Part Masters, BOM's, and Routings
  • Demonstrated problem-solving experience
Desired Skills:
  • Prior experience using Costpoint and/or TIP SFE
  • Knowledge/experience working with electrical components and systems
  • Knowledge/experience with soldering
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Experience with mechanical or electrical CAD
