About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Perioperative Services team at Tenet Massachusetts. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, providing support and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in surgical technology.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSTA) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
