About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist PRN to join our team at NueHealth. As a Surgical Technologist PRN, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and nurses in various medical and technical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain a safe and sterile environment for surgical procedures
  • Ensure proper handling and disposal of biohazardous waste
  • Collaborate with other hospital personnel to provide cost-effective patient care
  • Implement principles of medical and surgical asepsis in accordance with recognized national standards and hospital policies
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist required
  • Two years previous experience as an operating room technician desired
  • Current BCLS certification
