POSITION SUMMARY:

The role of the Janitor is essential for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at designated customer facilities or offices.

WORK SCHEDULE: Full-Time - Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Prepare and fill spray bottles with appropriate cleaning agents for disinfection.
  • Regularly clean, restock, and dispose of waste in all areas. Ensure trash can liners are replaced frequently.
  • Mop floors and/or vacuum carpets as needed.
  • Perform general cleaning duties including sanitizing surfaces such as walls, desks, counters, equipment, and floors, along with additional areas upon request.
  • Shampoo carpets and clean windows as required.
  • Complete any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES:
  • Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Handle any urgent cleaning needs that arise during the shift.
  • Work independently at the assigned job site.
  • Identify and address any issues or concerns, reporting them to the shift supervisor.
  • Notify the supervisor of any maintenance issues in the facility, such as leaks or damages.
  • Familiarize oneself with cleaning chemicals and their safety protocols.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

This is an entry-level position; a GED is preferred but not mandatory. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
