Nemours Children's Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team. As a PICU nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill children, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and manage life-sustaining therapies, such as mechanical ventilation and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO)
- Participate in code blue and rapid response team activations
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions
- Current registration or eligibility for Delaware State Board of Nursing licensure
- BSN degree or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in pediatric intensive care nursing
- CPR certification by the American Heart Association
- PALS certification preferred
- CCRN certification preferred
