Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing direct nursing care to pediatric patients, including administering medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
- Documenting patient information accurately and thoroughly, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a current state license as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
- Have valid, current BLS/CPR and First Aid certification.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have training and work experience in a pediatric setting, preferably.
- Meet the qualifications of a Child Care Supervisor as described in 55 Pa. Code Chapter 3800.
- Be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
