Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (Pediatrics) to join our team at Pediatric Specialty Care in Philadelphia, PA. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the overall well-being of our residents.


Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
  • Assessing the needs of residents and developing individualized care plans to ensure their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Documenting patient information accurately and thoroughly, in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a current state license as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
  • Have valid, current BLS/CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have training and work experience in a pediatric setting, preferably.
  • Meet the qualifications of a Child Care Supervisor as described in 55 Pa. Code Chapter 3800.
  • Be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
