Dialysis Nurse Coordinator

The Dialysis Coordinator (RN) at St. Clare's - Dover is responsible for delivering safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role involves providing direct patient care within the scope of practice, directing and guiding patient/family teaching, and maintaining standards of care within the Inpatient Renal Care Unit.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching.
- Maintain standards of care within the Inpatient Renal Care Unit.
Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Maintains acquired knowledge and remains current in advancements in nephrology especially Inpatient.
- Certification in Nephrology Nursing, Apheresis Nursing or both is highly encouraged.
- Two Years Experience in Acute Care Hemodialysis nursing.
