Dialysis Nurse Coordinator

As a Dialysis Coordinator (RN) at St. Clare's - Dover, you will be responsible for delivering safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will provide direct patient care within the scope of practice and direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
Responsibilities- Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
- Communicate with physicians about changes in patient clinical condition, including monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Maintains acquired knowledge and remains current in advancements in nephrology, especially Inpatient.
- Certification in Nephrology Nursing, Apheresis Nursing, or both is highly encouraged.
- Two Years Experience in Acute Care Hemodialysis nursing.
