Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Sous Chef to support our Executive Chef in creating and executing our culinary vision. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste, and training and mentoring kitchen staff to foster a positive and professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement the restaurant's culinary strategy
  • Manage the kitchen's day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless coordination between kitchen and dining areas
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development
  • Manage inventory and control food costs to optimize profitability
Requirements
  • At least two years of culinary management or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience in professional kitchens, preferably in elevated high-volume establishments
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and management
