About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Operator II to join our team at Machining Express, LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating CNC lathes, setting up and running production, and performing quality control inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC lathes with precision and accuracy
  • Set up and run production on multiple machines
  • Perform first article and in-process inspections
  • Read and interpret drawings and blueprints
  • Perform offset changes and install cutting tools
  • Knowledge of inspection hand tools and ability to use them effectively
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a setup and CNC machinist
  • Proven skills and knowledge of 5-6 multi-axis lathe with live tooling
  • Fluent in English (Speak, Read, Write)
  • Experience with Mori Seiki lathes with Fanuc controls
  • Citizen Swiss experience a plus
  • Bi-Lingual English/Spanish a plus
  • ISO 9001:2015 / AS9100 experience a plus

Work Environment

The CNC Lathe Operator II will work in a machine shop environment, with exposure to machine noise, working with coolant and oils, and other chemicals as needed.
