CNC Operator Job Description

Digifabshop is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team in Longmont, CO. This is a full-time position that requires continuous work with no expiration date.

Job Summary

The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating woodworking machinery to produce precise parts using 3-axis and 5-axis CNCs. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience as a CNC Operator and proficiency in woodworking techniques, machinery, and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review shop work orders for hours budgeted, approved materials, and schedule.
  • Understand project phases, Mill equipment, and deliverables.
  • Review machining SK drawings and models for materials and tooling.
  • Produce projects with efficiency, quality, and to our standards.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience as a CNC Operator.
  • Proficiency in woodworking techniques, machinery, and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Knowledge of wood types, finishes, and joinery methods.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Safety-conscious mindset.
Work Environment

The CNC Operator will work in a manufacturing environment with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, fumes, and loud noises. The employee is required to wear P.P.E. while on the manufacturing floor, including safety toe shoes.
