We are committed to innovation, quality, and excellence in our operations. We are currently seeking a skilled Gear Machinist to join our dynamic team.

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator with a focus on gear manufacturing. The ideal candidate will operate, maintain, and potentially set up machines to produce high-quality gears. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Operate CNC machines, gear hobbing, skiving, or grinding machines to produce precision gear components.
- Perform setup of machines when necessary, including tooling changes and adjustments to meet specifications.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure gears meet quality standards; make adjustments as necessary to prevent defects.
- Conduct regular maintenance on machines to ensure they are in good working condition.  Clean work area, including floor.
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of the finished workpiece.
- Perform quality checks using micrometers, gauges, and other precision measurement tools.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate production logs and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.

 

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machine operation is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in gear production or a related field.
- Proficiency with CNC machinery and understanding of G-code or similar programming languages.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Good physical condition to handle lifting and standing for long periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
