Job Title: Senior Survey Project Manager

At SAM, we are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Survey Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing multiple project managers, overseeing large-scale land survey projects, and working closely with Market Leads and senior leadership to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, including work plans, staffing requirements, and budgets.
  • Oversee the writing of scope, budget, and QAQC documents.
  • Identify and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze performance data to measure productivity, goal progress, and activity levels.
  • Mentor and develop professional staff to maximize their potential.
  • Develop and conduct presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Effectively interface with sub-consultants and other business relationships.
  • Represent company interests in meetings and trade shows.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of industry-related work experience in a professional or management capacity.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to oversee, mentor, and motivate a project team.
  • Ability to meet or exceed aggressive deadlines while maintaining teamwork and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated experience in project/phase management for large-scale land survey projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to manage multiple registered surveyors, technicians, and field crews.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, marketing, and networking.
  • Successful experience in contract negotiations, budgets, and fee estimates.
