Job Title: Senior Technical Program Manager in Healthcare

Mastek is seeking an accomplished Senior Technical Program Manager with 18-20 years of experience in the healthcare technology sector to work out of customer location in Minneapolis, MN.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing telehealth solutions, leading legacy modernization programs using modern digital stacks like React, Microservices, Headless apps, Cloud etc.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Program Oversight and Accountability: Provide end-to-end oversight of large-scale, complex healthcare digital transformation, legacy modernization, and telehealth implementation programs.
  2. Ensure delivery within scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  3. US Healthcare Expertise: Leverage experience with healthcare payer/provider systems involving EHR/EMR integration, care management and coordination.
  4. Implement solutions for virtual primary care, urgent care, and virtual mental health services.
  5. Strategic Planning and Modernization: Collaborate with Technical Architects and Product/Business consultants to assess customer technology and develop modernization roadmap and implementation plan.
  6. Drive modernization of legacy technologies into modern stacks using React, microservices, and cloud platforms.
  7. Project Initiation and Execution: Lead large engagements from the discovery phase, understanding customer needs.
  8. Develop implementation roadmaps and manage execution within scope, budget, and timelines.
  9. Manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
  10. Business Value and ROI: Develop compelling business value propositions and calculate return on investment (ROI).
  11. Quantify outcomes to demonstrate program benefits.
  12. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with diverse internal teams and customer stakeholders to deliver optimal services.
  13. Operate effectively in a global environment, managing teams across multiple time zones to balance cost and quality.
  14. Customer Relationship Management: Professionally handle challenging customer relationships.
  15. Implement strategies to resolve conflicts and maintain positive client engagements.
  16. Budget and Resource Management: Develop and oversee program budgets.
  17. Optimize resource allocation to meet program constraints.
  18. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor program performance.
  19. Deliver detailed reports and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
  20. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop program teams.
  21. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  22. Technical Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies in virtual healthcare.
  23. Integrate innovative solutions to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Qualifications

Education:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Healthcare Informatics, or related field; Master's preferred.
  2. Certifications: Mandatory PgMP or PMP; preferred certifications in cloud technologies, microservices, or healthcare IT systems.
  3. Domain: AHM-250 or F-AHM certifications.

Experience:

  1. 18+ years in technical program management within healthcare.
  2. Proven experience implementing virtual health solutions, legacy modernization and technology transformation initiatives for US healthcare customers.
  3. Expertise in modern digital stacks (React, cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP, microservices).
  4. Global experience managing teams across cultures (Service industry background preferred).
  5. Extensive stakeholder and vendor management.
