Position Overview

Essential Qualifications - Water Quality Technician

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent.Preferred minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.Any combination of certifications, education, or experience that equips the candidate with the necessary skills, knowledge, and abilities for the role.

Licenses, Registration, and Certifications

Must obtain one of the following licenses within the first year of employment:

o State of Colorado Distribution Level 1, or

o State of Colorado Water Treatment Operator Class D.

Essential Qualifications - Senior Technician
Education and Experience

Associate's degree in a relevant field.Minimum of 2 years of related experience.Any combination of certifications, education, or experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities for the position.

Licenses, Registration, and Certifications

Must possess one of the following licenses or combinations at the time of hire:

State of Colorado Distribution Operator Level 3State of Colorado Water Treatment Operator Class BRMWQAA Class 2 AND State of Colorado Distribution Operator Level 1RMWQAA Class 2 AND or State of Colorado Water Treatment Operator Class D Other required certifications and licenses: Must complete FEMA ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 within 24 months of appointment. - Both Levels
Must maintain a valid Class 'R' Colorado driver's license and possess a satisfactory driving record. - Both Levels

Respiratory Protection Testing - Both Levels

This position is subject to respiratory protection testing as directed by the designated health professional.
