Job Title: Associate Maintenance Manager, Cybertruck, Paint

The Associate Maintenance Manager will lead by example and collaborate with cross-functional teams and department leaders to address issues affecting build quality, production efficiency, and equipment availability. The successful candidate will have demonstrable skills in TPM/PM development and implementation, equipment spare parts management, OEE improvement, and breakdown management/follow-up action to prevent repeat occurrences.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain electrical and mechanical equipment to maximize reliability, availability, and continued operation.
  • Promote cross-training, job flexibility, and versatility of staff, including development of a training schedule.
  • Understand machine capacity, create machine line loads, and implement equipment contingency plans.
  • Direct involvement in creating/executing capital expenditures related to departmental budget and mill goals.
  • Ensure all safety rules are enforced, including an understanding of OSHA safety requirements.
  • Manage a team of 4+ Supervisors along with the headcount under their organizations.
  • Responsible for improving KPIs including quality, yield, and productivity.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering or Physical Science-related field preferred or equivalent experience with evidence of exceptional abilities.
  • Adept at industrial safety practices and policies for high-volume, cutting-edge technologies.
  • Skilled at leading, coaching, and developing direct reports across a broad range of engineering and technical disciplines.
  • Strong preventive maintenance development experience, familiarity with reliability-centered maintenance principles preferred.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/quantity.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, establish, and achieve goals.
  • PLC troubleshooting and programming.
