Key Responsibilities for Facilities Maintenance Associates:

As a Facilities Maintenance Associate, you will play a crucial role in upholding the AVE Brand Standards through cleanliness and maintenance tasks.

  • Maintain cleanliness in assigned common areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces.
  • Address resident service requests by performing various maintenance tasks such as painting, HVAC repairs, lock and window repairs, electrical work, and appliance servicing.
  • Ensure the exterior of the property is well-maintained, which includes watering plants, cleaning up leaves, and managing trash.
  • Assist with suite turnovers and work requests, including changing light bulbs, painting, and carpet cleaning.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to handle service requests outside of regular hours.
  • Respond to property emergencies, such as floods or power outages, that may occur after hours.
  • Oversee snow removal to keep the property accessible during winter weather.
Qualifications for Facilities Maintenance Associates:
  • 1-2 years of experience in janitorial or maintenance roles, including plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude with a self-motivated and energetic approach.
  • High standards for cleanliness and presentation.
  • Reliable transportation for on-call duties and emergencies.
Compensation:
  • Hourly wage ranges from $21 to $25.
Compensation will vary based on experience, qualifications, and location. Additional bonus opportunities may be available based on performance.
