Caregiver Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Caregiver Specialist to join our team at the Independent Living Association, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct support to consumers in their daily lives, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist consumers with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Develop and implement personalized support plans to promote independence and self-advocacy.
- Monitor and report on consumer progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for growth.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Perform other tasks as required to ensure the highest level of care and support for consumers.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- 1-3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Ability to pass and complete required trainings, such as First Aid, CPR, and SCIP, within the first three months of employment.
