Experienced Culinary Specialist

This position is based at our innovative kitchen facility. The standard schedule typically runs from morning to early evening with variable days, including weekends.
Role Responsibilities
As a Culinary Specialist, you will engage in all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.
Key Duties Include:
- Consistently prepare and present food according to established recipes and portion guidelines.
- Assist in various areas of the kitchen to maintain exceptional guest service and operational efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of kitchen equipment through regular inspections and adherence to maintenance protocols.
- Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure accurate recipe execution and portion control.
- Manage food costs effectively by following precise recipes and implementing waste reduction strategies.
- Comply with all kitchen policies and procedures as directed by management.
- Follow safety protocols for kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and sanitation practices.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate food storage and refrigeration temperatures.
- Comply with all local and federal food safety regulations.
Candidate Profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in various kitchen roles, including food preparation and line cooking.
- Ability to obtain relevant food safety certifications.
- Strong communication skills with team members and management.
- Capacity to work on your feet for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation is essential.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this role, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle objects. The ability to reach, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds is necessary.
