Position: Sales Executive

Compensation Package:
£28,000 base salary plus commission

Work Arrangement:
Upon successful training and assessment, the Sales Executive will have the option to work from the office for a minimum of two days each week, with the possibility of remote work for the remaining days, contingent on satisfactory performance. Alternatively, those who prefer to work primarily from the office are welcome to do so.

Company Overview:
A leading provider in the field of Direct Cremation funeral plans and services is looking to enhance its Outbound Sales team to facilitate ongoing growth. The company has seen significant expansion since its inception in 2015 and is eager to recruit multiple Sales Executives for its new office.

Role Responsibilities:
The Sales Executive will focus on selling cremation funeral plans directly to consumers via telephone.

Key Duties Include:
  • Conducting outbound calls to potential customers who have expressed interest in direct cremation plans, addressing inquiries, and maximizing sales conversion rates.
  • Adhering to the company's established processes and FCA regulations during calls.
  • Representing the company positively as a Brand Ambassador, ensuring exemplary customer service in all interactions.
  • All leads provided are warm; there is no cold calling involved.

Experience Required:
  • A minimum of one year in outbound telephone sales is preferred.
  • Proven track record in a target-driven environment.
  • Experience with potentially vulnerable customers is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service delivery.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and capability to identify process enhancements.
  • B2C experience is desirable but not mandatory.

  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, including active listening.
  • Ability to show empathy, sensitivity, and patience.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
  • Resilient, with a strong desire for success and helping others.

Working Hours:
09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday for three weeks out of four, with one late shift (12:00 - 20:00) every four weeks. Participation in a weekend rota is required, including working a Saturday (09:00 - 17:00) once every three weeks, compensated with a day off in lieu the following week.
