Product Development Specialist

Job Overview

The Product Development Specialist is a key role within the Jeeter team, responsible for driving the development and launch of innovative products that meet customer needs and exceed market expectations.


Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer requirements, and competitive offerings, informing product development strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Product Conceptualization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize new product ideas and enhancements, defining product specifications, features, and requirements that drive success in the market.
  • Project Management: Oversee product development projects from inception to launch, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with R&D, marketing, operations, and sales teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of product development efforts.
  • Prototype Development: Coordinate the creation of product prototypes and samples, conducting testing and gathering feedback for iteration and improvement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout the product development process, guaranteeing product safety, quality, and labeling.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of product development activities, including project plans, specifications, test results, and regulatory filings.
  • Product Launch: Support the successful launch of new products and product enhancements, coordinating marketing activities, training sales teams, and monitoring product performance post-launch.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate and enhance product development processes and practices to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Product Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Possess 2+ years of experience in product development or related roles, preferably in the cannabis or consumer goods industry.
