Behavioral Health Nurse Supervisor

Hospital for Behavioral Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to fill the role of Behavioral Health Nurse Supervisor. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in psychiatric nursing and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards of care and hospital policy.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
- Implement unit policies and procedures, and serve as a resource to staff members.
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, state, and regulatory standards and patient rights standards.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and formulate plans for improvement.
- Assist in developing staffing schedules in accordance with patient needs.
- Coordinate the process for determining and maintaining accurate legal processes for patients.
- Ensure Infection Control, Safety, and Risk Management policies are consistently implemented on the unit.
- Coordinate, maintain, and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment planning offered by Nursing Services.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management.
- Currently licensed to practice by the Massachusetts Board of Nursing.
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility.
- Thorough knowledge of Joint Commission, CMA, HCFA, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements.
- CPR certification and successful completion of training in CPI within 30 days of employment.
