About the Team

The Membership team is responsible for building and maintaining systems that assist in subscription management and granting benefits for our customers. We are a collaborative and dynamic team that values innovation, creativity, and teamwork.

We are looking for a talented Software Engineering Manager to join our team. As a leader, you will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the engineering team, leading and mentoring engineers, and working closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and communicate project progress.

About the Role

In this role, you will report to the Senior Engineering Manager of the Membership team. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications that meet the needs of our customers.

As a Software Engineering Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from building new features to improving existing ones. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.

About You

We are looking for a talented Software Engineering Manager with a strong background in cloud-native applications, microservices architecture, and team leadership. You should have a minimum of 9 years of experience in building cloud-native applications, with a strong focus on backend development and microservices architecture.

You should also have a proven track record of leading and mentoring engineering teams, with at least 2 years of direct people management experience. You should be proficient in programming languages such as Typescript, Go, Python, and experience with modern frameworks and technologies.

Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience in building scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-native applications.
