Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Department Lead to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving sales and supervising a team of hourly associates to deliver exceptional customer service and meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of associates to achieve sales and operational goals, while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
  • Operations Management: Oversee daily bakery operations, including production, inventory management, and quality control, to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop associates to improve their skills and knowledge, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 6 months experience in a bakery production department or 6 months experience supervising a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
