Position Responsibilities
Deliver compassionate care and services, including medication management, healthcare assistance, and support with daily living activities, ensuring adherence to established standards and protocols. Aid residents in self-administering medications and assist with personal hygiene and grooming. Support residents with mobility, including transferring and walking, while accurately monitoring vital signs and reporting any health changes. Follow safety guidelines to prevent infections and ensure a clean environment.
Assist in meal preparation and service, ensuring that meals are nutritious and appealing. Manage laundry duties, including washing and distributing linens and personal clothing. Maintain cleanliness in residents' living spaces and communal areas, while actively participating in community engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Depending on state regulations, a High School Diploma or GED may be necessary.
If working in a facility utilizing lifts for resident mobility, candidates must meet the minimum age requirements set by state law.
Completion and maintenance of the medication administration training program and competencies as per state guidelines are required.
