Position Summary

The Floor Care Specialist serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all flooring and associated products, playing a crucial role in the development and expansion of this product line. This position is ideal for self-motivated individuals with a robust work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve and surpass revenue targets for the designated territory.
  • Engage in direct sales activities for priority segments, devising effective sales penetration strategies.
  • Foster successful cross-selling initiatives with existing sales teams.
  • Participate in ride-alongs with sales professionals to enhance understanding of customer needs and product offerings.
  • Attend industry trade shows and networking events to boost external brand visibility.
  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct training sessions and demonstrations on flooring equipment for both employees and clients.
  • Perform site assessments to guarantee optimal solutions and accurate quotes for customers.
  • Manage job setups and ensure precise invoicing.
  • Provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement to management.
Professional Qualifications

Demonstrated sales experience and operational management within the equipment rental or a related sector is essential. Customer service expertise is required, along with proficiency in computer systems for data entry. Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.

Educational Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.

Employment Conditions

Strong understanding of equipment specifications, applications, and setup is necessary. Candidates should possess problem-solving skills at both strategic and operational levels, along with sales and financial acumen. A valid driver's license is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary ranges from $40,000 to $45,000, with uncapped commission potential and a company vehicle provided.
