Herc Rentals is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Floor Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and solutions to our customers in the flooring industry.
Key Responsibilities- Meet and exceed revenue goals for assigned territory by developing and executing effective sales strategies.
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers and sales professionals to drive sales growth and increase market share.
- Participate in ride-a-longs with other sales professionals to develop business and product knowledge of customers and sales professionals.
- Attend trade associations and networking events to create external brand awareness and establish the company as a thought leader in the industry.
- Ensure customers receive the highest level of service by providing timely and effective solutions to their flooring needs.
- Provide training and demonstrations on flooring equipment to employees and customers.
- Perform job walks to ensure optimal solutions and quotes are provided to customers.
- Perform job setups and ensure accurate invoicing.
- Provide recommendations for improvement to management and the company.
- Progressive sales background and operational management experience in the equipment rental or related industry.
- Professional experience in customer service and sales.
- Computer skills to support entering information into systems.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
- Interpersonal skills, teamwork, listening skills, ability to communicate effectively and efficiently, and dependability.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Sound knowledge of equipment specifications, applications, and setup.
- Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
- Sales and financial acumen.
- A valid driver's license.
