Position Overview:

Russell Tobin & Associates is collaborating with a dynamic pharmaceutical organization seeking a Remote Associate Director Medical Writer / Medical Writer II.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary medical writing contact for the creation of preclinical summaries, clinical summaries, pharmacokinetic reports, safety summaries, literature reviews, and other essential documents for regulatory submissions.
  • Analyze and condense data from biostatistical summary tables.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments including Biostatistics, Data Management, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, and R&D Management.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical writing within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Required: 3-5 years of consistent, full-time experience with a pharmaceutical company.
  • Experience in CNS/Neuroscience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proven ability to independently manage projects and effectively lead, organize, and engage in cross-functional teams.

Additional Information:

  • Part-time role – 20-30 hours per week.
  • Position type: 1-year contract with potential for extension or conversion.
  • Compensation range: $90-114/hr based on experience.

Must possess authorization to work in the United States.
