Job Summary

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking an experienced AP Associate to join their accounting team in Hamden, CT. This role involves processing high-volume invoices, verifying accuracy, and providing GL coding. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in AP processing and strong system experience, preferably with DocStar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify accuracy of over 500 invoices monthly
  • Enter and validate new vendor information
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and provide timely resolutions
  • Support AP Supervisor/Staff Accountant with ad hoc projects and provide backup for AR as needed

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in high-volume AP processing
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus
  • Strong system experience, preferably with DocStar
