Job Description

At Yale New Haven Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Physician Assistant in our Internal Medicine department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary care services to patients, including routine check-ups, diagnostic testing, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with our team of physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct thorough medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and referrals to specialists.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in internal medicine.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Physician Assistant in Internal or Family Medicine.
  • Active PA Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Connecticut State Physician Assistant License.
  • ACLS/BLS Certified.
  • Additional licensure, certifications, and/or continuing education credits may be required during employment based on position and area of specialty.
