Position Responsibilities

As a vital member of our Construction Services/Design Build Group, you will collaborate with our Contract Administration team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting field observations and inspections.
  • Performing material sampling and testing.
  • Ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Preparing pay estimates and generating project documentation for various projects.
  • Maintaining detailed records, including daily logs, quantity calculations, and supporting documents.
  • Assisting with surveying, project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
  • Engaging in design-build and pavement management activities as needed.
  • Willingness to travel for site inspections beyond the immediate area.
Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with experience in:

  • Municipal and heavy civil roadway and bridge construction inspection.
  • A minimum of 1 year of construction inspection or related experience (5+ years preferred).
  • Strong technical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Material testing experience and relevant technical certifications.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • The ability to work in various weather conditions and terrains typical of construction sites.
  • A two-year technical degree or a four-year degree in civil engineering construction is advantageous.
  • The capability to lift up to 75 lbs as required.
