Job Summary
The Ambulatory Healthcare Specialist will provide health services to facilitate optimal physical, mental, emotional, and social growth and development for students within the schools. This role requires a strong nursing background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). They should have at least one year of nursing experience and two years of experience working with pediatric patients.

Responsibilities
- Provide health education, medication management, and emotional support to students
- Identify health needs during the school day and refer to higher levels of care as needed
- Support the education process by working to assure the health of the students
- Promote healthy habits and overall health to strengthen maximum learning

Requirements
* Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing
* One year or more of nursing experience required
* Two years of experience working with pediatric patients required
* Excellent communication and team skills
* Compassionate and caring
* Accountable and self-directed

Salary and Benefits
Estimated salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year
