Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities

The Ambulatory Healthcare Associate will work closely with the healthcare provider to facilitate patient visits and procedures, perform routine laboratory tests, and contribute to quality outcomes for the practice population. This role requires excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct preparation of exam rooms and treatment areas for patient use, including cleaning and stocking of supplies.
  • Coordinate patient flow and manage the provider's caseload efficiently.
  • Collect and record patient information, including vital signs, EKGs, and specimen collection.
  • Use the EPIC EMR system to document patient care and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform point-of-care testing as needed and process referrals and medication refills.
  • Maintain positive relationships with patients, providers, and staff.


Qualifications:

A minimum of a graduate certificate or degree from a recognized medical assisting program, or a high school diploma/GED with at least one year of medical assistant experience in a physician practice within the past three years. Medical Assistant certification is required within six months of hire.
