Seeking an experienced Ambulatory Cardiology Nurse Specialist to join our team at IU Health Methodist Hospital - AH. With a minimum of 1 year of experience, you will utilize strong clinical skills to perform and assist with various cardiac procedures.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled nurse to work in our outpatient clinic cardiology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating patient responses to treatments, collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team, and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.

About the Role
  • Utilize strong clinical skills to perform and assist with various cardiac procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to provide the best patient outcomes.
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Be flexible to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1-year experience required.
  • Must possess an IN or compact license before application submission.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Must-Have:
    • Experience with Exercise Echocardiogram, Dobutamine Exercise Echocardiogram, Transesophageal Echocardiogram, Cardioversion, Nuclear Medicine Stress Test (Lexiscan), and Cardiac Testing.
    • COVID-19 Vaccine not required; Flu Vaccine required unless medical/religious exemption applies.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $1829.0 per week, along with other benefits including a guaranteed up to 40 hours per week, scrub colors: Red Top, Black Bottom, charting system: Cerner, orientation hours: 12 (non-billable), and modules to be completed average 6-12 hours before starting the position.

Please note that local applicants residing within a 50-mile radius are considered, and successful candidates must have completed an accredited nursing program recognized by the accrediting bodies at the time of graduation.
