Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Identification Friend-or-Foe (IFF) Subject Matter Expert to lead the hands-on test and validation effort of the IFF Subsystem with the ultimate goal of LTAMDS platform AIMS 1203 IFF Certification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop test cases/scenarios to verify performance requirements
  • Lead/support IFF system validation of performance
  • Statistical and numerical analysis of IFF performance data
  • Using computer interface tools (Linux, Ethernet) to intercept and record message data fields for subsequent analysis
  • Analysis tool development in support of problem identification and resolution
  • Collaboration with Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solutions
Requirements
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance
  • Experience with design, development, and analysis of cooperative radar (IFF) systems
  • Antenna, digital beamforming, spread-spectrum waveforms, cryptology principles, multi-sensor track management, adaptive signal processing, clutter mitigation techniques, sensor resource management and mission planning
  • Ability to analyze IFF Transponder Truth Data
  • Experience with MATLAB/Python/C++
  • Experience with technical writing and oral presentations
  • Systems Engineering experience on DoD systems
