Responsibilities:

* Assist teachers and classroom staff in developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans
* Provide support and guidance to students with moderate to severe disabilities in a classroom setting
* Collaborate with school psychologists and other professionals to ensure effective implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans

Requirements:

* Two years of experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities in a classroom setting
* High School diploma, GED, or equivalent; Associate degree OR 48 semester units from an accredited college/university OR Instructional Aide Exam OR CBEST with a passing score
* Must possess or obtain First Aid and CPR certificates within 45 days of employment
* Ability to speak, read, and write another language and willingness to use this skill in the performance of the job may be required for some assignments
