WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

As a key player in our organization, you will serve as a subject matter expert for nVent Data Solutions products, collaborating with various functions such as Sales, Product Management, and Operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing primary product support to both customers and colleagues utilizing nVent Cooling and Power products.
  • Assessing customer requests for quotations (RFQs) and developing detailed cost estimates and proposals.
  • Offering technical application support to identify customized and engineered solutions tailored to customer specifications.
  • Preparing and submitting quotes for non-standard products using our internal systems.
  • Conducting product training sessions for customers and distributors on quoting tools.
  • Creating compliance documentation to meet customer requirements.
  • Leading strategic initiatives aimed at product enhancement, cost efficiency, and new product development.
  • Reviewing technical documentation for accuracy, including installation guides and operational manuals.
  • Representing nVent in industry standards committees.
  • Providing valuable market insights and feedback to our commercial teams.
  • Assisting commercial teams with customer engagement activities.
  • Collaborating with the Sales Leader to plan strategic activities.
  • Identifying projects nearing closure and delivering essential technical support.
  • Keeping management informed about significant developments and decisions requiring their input.

YOU HAVE:

A Bachelor's Degree in electrical, mechanical, or applications engineering, or equivalent experience in Data Center engineering.

Ideally, you possess:

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical application role supporting Data Center solutions.
  • The ability to work remotely with occasional travel (approximately 30%) primarily within the US and Canada.
  • A strong understanding of High-Density Liquid Cooling Solutions in the Data Center environment.
  • A solid technical foundation regarding Data Center Power requirements at the rack or PDU level.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
