Job Summary

Spherion is seeking a highly skilled Plant Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team in Little Falls, MN. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant's equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program that meets industry standards and ensures the reliability of our equipment.
  • Maintenance Leadership: Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians to ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks and projects.
  • Facility Management: Monitor and maintain the facility to ensure it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.
  • Project Management: Manage projects as needed, directing staff and/or working with general contractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement a continuous improvement plan to improve maintenance processes and efficiency.
  • Safety and Compliance: Promote general plant safety, food safety, and good manufacturing practices, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Manage spare parts and maintenance materials inventory to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Budgeting: Develop and manage an annual maintenance budget to ensure effective resource allocation.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a maintenance manager or supervisor in a fast-paced, rapid growth production or manufacturing environment.
  • Certifications: Must hold a Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator (CIRO) license and a Master class Boiler License.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to read and understand manuals, drawings, and P&ID documents, and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
