We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Support Specialist to join our team at Barrett Petfood Innovations. As a key member of our production team, you will assist the Extruder Operator in the day-to-day operation of our pet food production plant.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Extruder Operator in the setup and operation of the extruder, ensuring optimal production efficiency and product quality.
- Work closely with the Meat Room and Mill teams to ensure that all products meet our high standards for quality and specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of product to ensure it meets customer specifications, density, and size requirements.
- Assist with troubleshooting equipment to ensure that all machinery is functioning properly and efficiently.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
- Assist with the calibration of pumps and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to obtain a Fork/Truck license.
- Strong trouble-shooting skills and attention to detail.
- Computer literacy and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety protocols.
- Competitive hourly rate of $19.50 - $21 per hour.
