Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Body Shop Technician to join our team at Diehl Collision of Washington. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality collision repairs and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine damaged vehicles and develop efficient repair plans.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely and quality repairs.
  • Make informed decisions regarding repair versus replacement, considering factors such as safety, cost, and cycle time.
  • Remove and replace vehicle components, including upholstery, accessories, and electrical equipment.
  • Participate in safety meetings and adhere to company protocols.
  • File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools.
  • Supervise apprentices and provide guidance on tasks and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in using frame machines.
  • Certification in body repair is preferred.
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair processes and manufacturer specifications.
  • I-CAR welding certification is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret measuring data.
