Job Title: Calibration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Calibration Specialist to join our team at BioSpace, Inc. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of laboratory equipment, maintaining compliance with metrological guidelines, and supporting the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Responsibilities:
  • Perform hands-on calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of laboratory equipment to ensure compliance with metrological guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for various systems and calibration protocols.
  • Maintain records and inventory of equipment.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in calibration, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation.
  • Strong understanding of metrological guidelines and current manufacturing practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to write clear and concise SOPs.
  • Experience in vendor management and conducting audits is a plus.
