Responsibilities- Provide Safe and Effective Patient Care: Utilize best practices during hand-off communication and when reporting patient care information, and seek assistance from other staff as needed.
- Perform and Document Systematic Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments according to established criteria and document patient information accurately and completely.
- Recognize and Respond to Abnormal Diagnostic Data: Identify and report abnormal diagnostic data to the appropriate provider.
- Develop and Maintain Professional Relationships: Build and maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and staff, and demonstrate a personable and respectful demeanor.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff, and seek assistance for conflict resolution as needed.
- Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings: Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and coordinate with other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to a Healthy Work Environment: Contribute to a healthy work environment by exhibiting professional behaviors and seeking assistance in addressing interpersonal conflicts.
- Education: High School Diploma/General Educational Development (GED)
- Credentials: Registered Nurse
- Skills: Word processing, spreadsheets, data entry, database experience, and other computer-related skills
This position requires lifting, moving, and loading 30 to 50 pounds, as well as working alternate shift schedules (day, evening, nights, weekends).
