KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured testing plans and test cases.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing for intricate web solutions, both manual and automated.
  • Engage in Sprint planning and design discussions.
  • Collaborate with project teams to comprehend requirements for new initiatives.
  • Review requirement and design documents to provide timely insights.
  • Identify and communicate any missing requirements and acceptance criteria to management.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing efforts.
  • Manage defect reporting and resolution.
  • Assist in defining and implementing quality standards, processes, and improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with development teams on issues and defects.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years of experience in manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks using JavaScript.
  • Experience with test automation utilizing BDD (Cucumber), Gherkin, and tools such as WebdriverIO or Selenium (preferred).
  • Familiarity with cross-browser testing tools.
  • Knowledge of GitHub Actions, CI/CD tools, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
  • Experience in analyzing bugs effectively.
  • Competence in manual, responsive web, and mobile screen testing for web applications.
  • Experience in documenting test plans thoroughly.
  • Understanding of web performance and accessibility testing.
  • Familiarity with at least one agile methodology such as Scrum, XP, or SAFe.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Essential Skills:
2-3 years of experience in test automation using JavaScript.

Preferred Skills:
Web Accessibility, Web Performance, Azure, DevOps.

Domain Expertise:
Preferably in the Financial Sector.

  • Onsite role required (3 days per week).
