Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Renown Regional Medical Center. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in our adult critical care units, adult general care, and pediatric general care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in critical care units, general care, and pediatric care
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop plans to improve lung function
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
  • RRT certification
  • Nevada State License (must have license in hand to apply)
  • Current AHA BLS certification
  • AHA ACLS & PALS certification within 6 months of hire
  • 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy
Work Environment

As a Respiratory Therapist at Renown Regional Medical Center, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high volume of patients. You will be part of a team that is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and improving outcomes.

  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
  • Call Requirements: to be discussed during interview
  • May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period
  • Schedule can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
